ABOUT ASSOTIATION

The Slovak Assotiation of Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery (SAOMFS) was established in 1998 as a new society within the Slovak Medical Society (SLS). Previously, maxillofacial surgery and oral surgery was a section of the Slovak Stomatological Society (SSS) within SLS under the name Stomatological surgery.

Dental surgery as a specialization was replaced by maxillofacial surgery and oral surgery, which together form the base of the Slovak Association of Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery.
